

This arch is set in the grounds of novelist Joanne Harris, author of 'Chocolat'.




These four images showcase the curvaceous walls in a garden
in St. John's Wood.
The project was designed by Ian Kitson.

The stone in this newly renovated wall is carefully matched and laid to blend
perfectly
with the original existing wall, here in the garden of Lady Armitage.

In this garden, monastic cellars were revealed and the new
stonework has made a dramatic and beautiful environment.

Restoration work at the estate of Lady Armitage, Kirklees Priory. Left-hand
arrow shows area of renovated wall.
The stone was sourced specially to suit the existing material and the wall
was restored using the authentic techniques.
The right-hand arrow shows the window from where Robin Hood shot his last
arrow.
